Fallon had always resented the pack he was born to be in charge of. His father was brutally murdered because of it, and ever since, the pack had hated Fallon for his passiveness. Years later, his son was meant to take over. Though, Fallon wasn't sure if their family should stay involved with that whole mess at all.
He never got the chance to make a choice, because his son suddenly fled into the dark woods and Fallon went after him, concerned. A horrible chain of events led to an uncontrolled, bloody fight, and Fallon hasn't seen his son since. He isn't even sure if he's still alive.

“Where’s Dione?” Fallon asked no one in particular.
Rune answered, “Buying bread,” then gave Fallon a little wave when their eyes met.
Hyde dragged Fallon closer to the kitchen. “Rune,” he said, then gestured at Fallon. “Meet my dad, Fallon.”
Rune gave him a sheepish smile. “Hi, I’m Rune.”
“Yes, Hyde said so,” was what Fallon said.
