Why I picked it up: My friend recommended it to me. I was feeling pretty 'meh' about Shadow & Bone but everywhere, I heard how much better Six of Crows is, so I wanted to give this world another shot.

Overall opinion: Still, five stars. The plot is fast and exciting, especially once the get to the court. The characters are fun. Right now, they’re just not my favourite characters ever,
and it’s not my favourite book. I thought it was a but lacking in relationships, I guess. It was more of a background thing. And I get that, the plot needed a lot of time.
But I hope Crooked Kingdom will go deeper into the relationships.
I wrote that right after I read it. Now, 2 years later when writing this, I just have no more interest in this series or anything Leigh Bardugo.
I enjoyed it in the moment, but then I seemed to have lost interest within a couple of weeks. It didn't stick with me, I never think about this book.
