Why I picked it up: I pre-ordered it as soon as I was finished with book 1. But that was a mess (read on the page of A Marvellous Light Hardcover for why), so I ended up ordering a different version from my local store.

Overall opinion: Now my favourite series is done, and I am sad. Not because the book was sad, but because it’s over. I want more from these characters. I guess that’s what fandom is for. And I could always reread it.
I loved it so much, this is the only book (or series) that I've lurked in the fandom of. It's a very small fandom but it exists.
Jack and Alan are my favourite pair. Their dynamic is so good, and they're amazing characters individually, too.
I think this is my favourite book, period.
