Why I picked it up: I don't remember where I had seen it before, or if I truly had in the first place. But one day, I was in a bookstore, and I saw this book on a table from a few meters away and it immediately caught my eye. I walked over, picked it up, read the back, and deciced I needed it. I felt like I had heard of it before but I can't for the life of me remember where.

Overall opinion: I loved this. So much.
I loved Edwin’s and Robin’s relationship. I love that they’re their own people with their own issues and families and friends, but compliment each other so well. I liked how they found out about each other being gay, how tender they are and listen to each other and are always concerned for how the other feels, if the other is still okay with what’s happening (that part’s mostly about the sex.)
I really enjoyed the mystery. The magic and world is really interesting.
It’s up there in my favourites now (which I had kind of expected, because it’s right up my alley. Gay fantasy romance is also what I mainly write myself).
